Practice Development Group Guidelines
The SCCPA Early Career Psychologists Committee sponsors the Practice Development Group (PDG). PDG is a casual, informal monthly gathering where licensed clinicians discuss issues around starting and developing a private practice. Educated at University of Pennsylvania and California School of Professional Psychology in San Diego, she has been in private practice for twenty-five years. In her clinical work, she practices from a psychodynamic, attachment-focused orientation with cognitive work utilized in treating substance abuse and eating disorders. Areas of specialization include: substance abuse treatment, eating disorders treatment, Gottman style marital therapy, and group therapy from a Yalom process oriented perspective.
Participation is voluntary and participants have the right to stop attending at any time.
